ARTARY’s Community Mission
ARTARY’s Community Mission
Some children have never set foot in an art school in their childhood years or be intriged by life-changing art experiences. ARTARY’s community mission is to harness the power of the arts to transform lives and strive towards a future that allow all children the opportunity to engage in art regardless of background.
Our Community Mission does not choose or designate the children and families we serve. We serve where the need is greatest and to students where we feel our programmes will have the most impact. We connect with children through existing social organisations and agencies, which include charities, family services centres, children residential facilities, welfare organisations, public schools or even private companies (corporate social responsibility programmes).
ARTARY’s Community Mission will work with charities or social organisations to emplace beneficiary children and youths into ARTARY’s Fine Art curriculum in campuses islandwide. ARTARY’s Fine Art curriculum is broad-based and progressive, specially designed to allow students to acquire, master and build a strong foundation with the required art skill sets and techniques. Our curriculum works with students to use arts as a platform for emotional, personal, and social development.
We can also partner with organisations to reach out to more children who may not receive the privilege to high-quality art exposure due to social or economic barriers through specialised workshops, events and exhibitions.
