Shannon’s “Fashion Runway Look” art piece is part of the “Fashion Week” series.
This art piece was inspired by the many works of Helen Downie, which were commissioned for Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection.
Shannon’s self-portrait looks sweetly naive and yet eye-catching at the same time. Her choice of shockingly red colours starkly contrasts with the closed-lip smile, conveying a sense of shock and chaos among calm. The flower hair garland and ear beads poetically draws attention her captivating emerald eyes.
Shannon’s sweater design is playful and irreverent. Her choice of eccentric emblems seemed a bit odd to look at first. But her fluffy botanics, nature abstractions, military symbols and romantic in-your-face emblems will linger in your memory.
