Every week, hundreds of students come through the doors of Artary to participate in the best art experience. Our children art programmes are designed to deliver a holistic, disciplined, and engaging art learning experience.

Artary Kids is available as weekly programmes or special interest workshops.

Art Explorers (3½ to 5 years old)

Duration : 75 mins per session / Once a week

Our Art Explorers children enjoy experiential learning in a fun and stimulating environment. We approach art learning with these very young learners through carefully selected cartoons, songs, pictures, and a wide variety of hands-on learning activities that will appeal to the children’s interest and suit their short concentration spans. The mentors who work with these young learners are carefully selected not only for their talent, but also for their warm and caring approach.

The sessions are held in small groups, and consists of exciting weeks that focus on basic drawing, colouring and shapes, with specially themed hands-on activities and projects. The children will explore arts and crafts through drawing and colouring practices, collages (scissors and pasting), exploratory clay projects and simple prints in a safe and secure environment. The programme will allow the children to explore art through practice and play sessions, both individually and in groups.

Art Preparatory (5 to 8 years old)

Duration : 90 mins per session / Once a week

Our Art Preparatory Programme aims to develop the children’s basics and principles of art, drawing and painting with basic media. The programme is designed to nurture a foundation of love for art, by engaging the children’s interest in drawing and colouring the familiar world around them with an entirely refreshing perspective. Specially selected themes are designed to be springboards for developing their creativity, patience and observation skills. The highly interactive nature of the Art Preparatory Programme helps children gain a strong foundation in fine motor skills to prepare them for future art experiences.

The sessions are held in small groups, and consists of exciting weeks that focus on basic to intermediate drawing and painting techniques, using oil pastels, poster and acrylic paints as colouring media. The children will explore crafts through basic sculptures and clay work. Children are involved in individual art projects, group art exploration sessions and multi-week craft projects to ensure that they are stimulated and engaged!

Art Experience (8 to 12 years old)

Duration : 90 mins per session / Once a week

Our Art Experience Programme aims to develop a solid foundation in art for every child. It focuses on building upon the children’s art exposure and vocabulary, and to develop proficient drawing and painting skills, at the same time enticing them to express their individual creativity, attitude and emotions in through their art works. The programme also allows the children to experience a multitude of art styles, including famous classic and modern artists. The Art Experience Programme will widen the children’s horizon in the world of arts and the infinite possibilities of creativity expressions in their life!

The sessions are held in small groups, and consists of exciting weeks that focus on intermediate to advanced drawing and painting techniques, through media such as oil pastels, colour pencils, poster paints, watercolours, acrylic paints, charcoal and many more. The children will experience crafts through sculpturing figurines and ornaments, prints and clay work. The programme will immerse the children in individual art projects, group art interaction sessions and multi-week projects.
